Each Congressional District unit of the Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) will elect between 11 and 20 Delegates to the State Central Committee and between 11 and 20 Alternates to the State Central Committee, depending on the number of votes each Congressional District produce for the top of the Democratic ticket in 2024.

The State Central Committee candidates will be elected using a system of proportional voting called Slate Voting. In short, a proportional voting system is a system where groups in the minority can win representation directly. A more detailed explanation with examples is here.
